We are interested in having our upcoming event included in the Chamber Calendar; the event is taking place in Mission but is open to all surrounding communities. I’ve attached a poster and a write up for the event below. Please let me know if you need any additional information.

Afternoon Session: Discover Uncharitable 

1:00 – 4:00 p.m. | Steelhead Community Hall, Mission 

Tickets: $10 

In the afternoon, we’re screening Uncharitable, the groundbreaking documentary inspired by Dan Pallotta’s TED Talk, “The Way We Think About Charity Is Dead Wrong.” 

This film challenges traditional ideas about charity and shines a light on the barriers nonprofits face when trying to create real, lasting impact. 

After the screening, stay for a short panel and Q&A to dig deeper into what meaningful change can look like in our own community. This event is proudly sponsored by the Abbotsford Community Foundation. 

Whether you join us for one session or make a full day of it, we hope these events spark new ideas, meaningful conversations, and a deeper understanding of how we can support children, families, and communities together.
