Mela Maavan Dheeyan Da ( Mothers Day Celebration for Women)

Join us for a Mother's Day Dinner and Dance in a banquet hall in Mission, BC, on May 11th 2024. It's an opportunity to for local women to come together to celebrate, draw some door prizes, have vendor stalls to encourage and support new businesses, enjoy some delicious Indian food (snacks and dinner) - catering by Zaika Taste of India - and entertain our attendees with some Punjabi Bhangra performances and end the night with an open dance floor. My goal is to create a platform for new women entrepreneurs where they can help each other support and grow their new ventures so this is just a step towards that. The ticket is only $40 and kids under 5 are free. The doors open at 2:30 PM and the official event will start at 4:00 PM and will go on until 8:30 PM. Last year we sold almost 275 tickets and women from Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Langley and Mission joined us. I am hoping for a similar turn out this year as well. This can be a great mothers day gift for someone who would love a night filled with mingling and networking with local South-Asian women, some inspirational speeches (mostly in Punjabi), dance performances, and enjoy some great Indian food and music.
