Few communities will have been closer to the centre of B.C. politics this fall than Abbotsford.
By October 21, Abbotsford voters will have seen a by-election cancelled for Abbotsford-Mission, voted in the October 17 municipal election, and will be heading to the polls for a provincial election on October 24th.
In recognition of Small Business Week, the Abbotsford Chamber of is hosting a special Leaders Lunch bringing some of B.C.'s leading political journalists, public opinion researchers and policy experts to Abbotsford to unpack what’s happened, what the results tell us, and what comes next for Abbotsford businesses.
This non-partisan discussion will focus on what the changing political and public policy environment could mean for businesses, employers and the provincial economy heading into 2027.
