Honorable Diana Gibson 

Diana Gibson was first elected as the MLA for Oak Bay-Gordon Head in 2024. 

Diana was appointed the Minister of Jobs, Economic Development and Innovation in November 2024. 

Diana is an award winning community leader and entrepreneur. Diana was the Executive Director of the Greater Victoria Community Social Planning Council, where she founded multiple regional services and programs including he Greater Victoria Rent Bank. She is also a successful entrepreneur and CEO who co-founded multiple businesses including one which is the largest Canadian Indigenous-owned consulting firm. Prior to that, she directed a University research institute. 

Diana and her husband live in Oak Bay Gordon Head where they are raising their three children and where Diana has been an active volunteer in school, community and parent associations.
