About the moderator:

Satvir S. Gill CIM, FSCI, FEA

Satvir is a long-time Abbotsford resident who has been actively engaged in the community since relocating from Fort St. John in 1994.

With over 25 years of experience in the financial sector, Sat serves as a Senior Wealth Advisor and Portfolio Manager at Scotia Wealth Management, where he helps clients navigate complex investment and financial planning decisions. His deep understanding of economic, geopolitical, and global issues informs both his professional and community work.

Sat has held numerous leadership roles, including Past President of both the Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce and the Fraser Valley Indo-Canadian Business Association, as well as a former Director with the BC Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Abbotsford. He has served as an elected School Trustee, a Public Board Member for the BC College of Physicians and Surgeons, and a member of the Abbotsford Economic Development Commission. He is a founding board member of the Fraser River Community Crematorium Society and currently serves as Vice Chair of the Abbotsford Community Foundation.

Together with his wife Aman, Sat supports several local and international causes, including the Crystal Gala Foundation, Canuck Place, and various hospital foundations.
