CYPE is excited to announce the Elevate Your Edge Series in collaboration with the Esposito Family Centre for Innovation & Entrepreneurship (EFCIE)! This series will explore themes that are important for young people as they build their professional portfolio, such as entrepreneurship, mentorship, and leadership.

The first event of the series, “Elevate Your Edge: Entrepreneurship” will focus on entrepreneurship and the building blocks of harnessing entrepreneurial spirit! With an exciting lineup of panelists, this event offers valuable lessons for all CYPE Members.

Keenan Beavis

Keenan Beavis is the Founder of Longhouse Branding & Marketing. To-date Longhouse has worked to generate more than $335 million in revenue for its partners and has helped over 800 business & community leaders make their impact.

In the 7th Grade, Keenan was recognized as the 27th most viewed YouTube Channel in Canada and in high school created a collection of online t-shirt stores.  Finding success in both due to early learning of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) & Digital Advertising.

Using the skills he developed through YouTube & T-Shirts, Keenan began offering Digital Marketing services to businesses around Vancouver.  The company has grown to an award-winning & nationally recognized agency, that is a leading career-based employer of youth in his local community.

An advocate for entrepreneurs & leadership, Keenan often speaks on the topics of Marketing with Storytelling, Team Culture and promoting business as the most effective catalyst for fostering innovation, creating wealth, and improving living standards.

Keenan is working towards a future where leaders can focus on what needs them most.  By dedicating time to Web Design, Branding, Advertising, Social Media, SEO, and other business services for partners, Keenan is contributing to economic growth across the country.

A proud Métis entrepreneur, Keenan & Longhouse has been awarded as the British Columbia Young Indigenous Entrepreneur of the Year and was selected as a 4x Ch’nook Scholar.

Additionally, Keenan was selected to BC Business’ 30 Under 30 and Alumni of the Year from his alma mater; University of the Fraser Valley.

Longhouse has been described as the “Best Marketing Company in Canada”, however Keenan’s vision extends much further.



Aman Gill

Aman Gill is a dynamic entrepreneur, community leader, and advocate. She graduated with a Bachelor of Integrated Studies and began her career two decades ago in the banking sector, gaining a wealth of financial and business knowledge. As the owner of Express Employment Professionals – Fraser Valley, she is dedicated to connecting businesses with top talent while empowering individuals to build successful careers. Aman is also committed to fostering a culture of trust, integrity, and innovation, ensuring an environment where collaboration thrives, and team members feel empowered to reach their full potential. Her dedication to excellence earned her a nomination for the 31stand 32nd annual RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards.

Aman’s passion for public service extends to law enforcement governance, having served as a police board member for the Abbotsford Police and as a director at Large for the B.C. Association of Police Boards. She also served on the IIO (Independent Investigations Office), representing the B.C. Association of Police Boards. A dedicated Rotarian, she has served as President of the Rotary Club of Abbotsford Sumas and remains actively involved in Rotary District 5050. She also contributes to local business advocacy as a committee member on the Government Affairs Committee for the Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce.

A strong advocate for breast cancer research and awareness, Aman has been a board member of the Crystal Gala Foundation for the past 20 years, helping to raise funds for the Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre – Breast Health Unit. Her commitment to philanthropy, entrepreneurship, and community engagement continues to inspire those around her.


Brian Vickers

Born and raised in Abbotsford, Brian Vickers grew up playing baseball with the Abbotsford Cardinals, an experience that instilled in him the values of dedication, teamwork, and perseverance. With the support of his local community, he pursued his passion for the sport at the university level, competing across Canada and the United States before briefly playing professionally. After closing that chapter, Brian returned to British Columbia to earn his Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University in 2014 and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2015.

Since then, Brian has built a strong reputation in the courtroom, running numerous trials in the Supreme Court of British Columbia and making regular appearances before the Court of Appeal. His practice spans personal injury, employment, defamation, commercial law, wills and estates litigation, real estate, and insurance defence law, with notable successes in each area.

At the core of Brian’s work is a commitment to serving his local community. Whether through practical, clear legal advice or strong advocacy at trial, his goal is to alleviate stress and bring clarity to the litigation process. He believes that every client should feel better off for having retained him. This dedication to client service is a shared value at Zacharias Vickers McCann, where he and his colleagues pride themselves on strength, comfort, and confidence in the courtroom.

Beyond his legal practice, Brian remains actively involved in giving back to his community, embodying the same dedication and commitment that have defined his career.


Amanda Mango

Amanda Mango is the founder and organizer of The Mango Market, a thriving artisan market that has become a hub for small businesses, makers, and creatives in Abbotsford. With a mission to cultivate a collaborative community, The Mango Market is more than just an event—it’s a space where local artisans, food vendors, and entertainers connect with both customers and each other to grow and thrive.

Her entrepreneurial journey began in 2021 when she transformed the former Auguston Market into The Mango Market, building it into a celebrated platform that has supported over 350 small businesses in just one season. Prior to this, she founded Home by Mango, an online store dedicated to curated handmade goods, which later evolved into an advocacy brand championing small businesses. Before stepping into the world of entrepreneurship, she worked as an executive assistant and marketing coordinator for a non-profit, experiences that shaped her passion for service and community building.

As a business leader, she firmly believes in collaboration over competition—that success isn’t about “winning” over others but about finding ways to serve, uplift, and create opportunities for those around you. This mindset has not only driven The Mango Market's success but has also earned her recognition, including being named Entrepreneur of the Year (2021) and the Company of Young Professionals & Entrepreneurs Award winner (2023) by the Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce.

Jove Loewen

With a vision to elevate the Food & Beverage Industry, Jove Loewen brings 16 years of Business Management experience to the table, helping individuals and organizations thrive in the hospitality space. His career has taken him across the globe, working with industry leaders such as Red Rock Leisure in Australia and Cactus Club Restaurants in Canada, giving him a unique, high-level perspective on the international food and beverage scene.

In Abbotsford, British Columbia, Jove’s focus is on developing and managing local businesses that enhance the hospitality landscape. He is the owner of The Table Bistro, a refined yet approachable artisanal dining destination in the heart of Fraser Valley.
