About the moderator:

Vijay Manuel is the Head of MEI Schools, the largest independent school in the province of British Columbia with a K - 12 student body of nearly 1600 and a staff of 250. His career in education and leadership spans 28 years including 20 years in the Abbotsford School District as a teacher, vice principal, and principal and 8.5 years as the Head of MEI Schools.

Vijay also serves as the Chair of the board of directors at Character Abbotsford Society, as the Assistant Moderator of the Canadian Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches, as the Vice Chair of the board of directors at the Canadian Association of Mennonite Schools (CAMS), on the board of directors for the Federation of Independent School Associations of B.C (FISABC), and on the board of governors at Trinity Western University.
