Job Title:     Administration Manager (Full-time Permanent) 

Reports to: CEO 

Wage:  : $55,000 - $65,000 annual salary, plus benefits: extended health & dental, new RRSP program Discretionary Annual End of Year Bonus  

Location: In-Person at Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce Office 

 

THE ROLE: 

Administration Manager – Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce 

The Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce is seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized Administration Manager to lead our administrative operations. This vital role supports the CEO, Board, and Committees, handles member and stakeholder communications, and helps maintain our strong community presence. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Administration & Operations: Manage the Chamber’s calendar, office equipment, supplies, Certificates of Origin, insurance coverage, and accreditation status. Handle daily communications and general office tasks. 

  • Executive & Board Support: Coordinate scheduling, communications, and meeting logistics for the CEO and Board. Maintain records and assist with policy and bylaw administration. 

  • Membership Management: Process new and updated member information, create welcome packages, and support retention efforts. 

  • Finance & Records: Manage invoicing, deposits, financial records, and assist with budgeting and annual audit preparation. Maintain records per privacy legislation and Chamber policies. 

  • Website & IT Oversight: Ensure website and computer systems are current and secure. Assist with basic website updates and IT coordination. 

  • Events Support: Assist in organizing and executing Chamber events, from registration to on-site support and reconciliation. 

Qualifications: 

  • Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Communications, or equivalent 

  • 5+ years in a similar role; non-profit experience an asset 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and CRMs; digital-first mindset 

  • Strong communicator with excellent organization, multitasking, and customer service skills 

  • Professional, accountable, and community-minded 

  • Demonstrated attention to detail, efficiency, reliability, accountability, and proactive administrative and project coordination skills are essential. 

  • Ability to work occasionally outside of normal business operating hours to support events and initiatives as required.
