Jovanka Charbonneau is a senior economist at the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC), where she oversees economic monitoring and macroeconomic forecasting. For the last decade, she has been analyzing the economy to help entrepreneurs navigate the risks and opportunities that impact their businesses. Jovanka provides valuable insights through various BDC initiatives, such as the Monthly Economic Newsletters. Additionally, she acts as an advisor for various corporate functions of BDC. Jovanka holds a master’s degree in economics from the Université du Québec à Montréal and a certificate in big data and machine learning applied to economics and finance.
