The Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the official signing of a Relationship Accord with the Fraser Valley Indo Canadian Business Association. Dignitaries from each organization came together last night to make it official at the Chamber Connections event generously hosted by Globe Printing.
Signing the document on behalf of each organization are newly elected President (FVICBA) Nash Gill and current Chamber President Patrick Giesbrecht. “We are delighted to celebrate the formalizing of a collaborative relationship between our two business organizations,” said Giesbrecht. “The Accord is a commitment to endeavor to foster relationships of mutual respect between business leaders within our organizations to reflect the benefits of diversity within our City.”
The Accord acknowledges that our organizations will endeavor to engage each other on items of mutual interest and importance to the benefit of the overall business community in Abbotsford. Our first collaboration, together with the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board, will be the upcoming All Candidates meetings on November 2nd for Mayor Candidates and November 8th for Council candidates.
The Chamber is pleased to provide the business community with opportunities to meet the candidates in the upcoming municipal elections. Representatives from the FVICBA, the FVREB and the Chamber will act as panelists to pose the questions at the upcoming debates.
Voters are urged to visit the Chamber website at
